About the role

Cremarc is expanding its Content team and is looking for an experienced B2B content writer to work closely with the Head of Content and wider team of digital experts, creatives and social media team.

You will be writing across a range of B2B accounts, creating full-funnel content from thought leadership and high-level awareness pieces through to deeper, technical assets and sales enablement.

You will be creating content in a variety of formats and will have an appetite for innovation, looking to go beyond blogs and whitepapers and to explore visual, audio and other accessible mediums that get busy professionals to sit up and notice.

This is not a junior level role, but ideal for someone who already has content marketing experience and lots of ideas who wants to show what they can do, get going immediately and develop their content marketing skills.

What we are looking for

  • A portfolio of content creation for B2B brands
  • 3-5 years working for a marketing agency or in-house
  • A journalistic eye for great copy, with provocative headlines and attention-grabbing openers that keep people reading
  • Impeccable spelling and grammar, knowing your em dash from your clauses
  • An understanding of B2B marketing and aligning good copy with business objectives and personas
  • An awareness of what’s going on in B2B marketing, keeping up to date with trends and examples of great work being created by fellow trailblazers
  • Knowledge of common B2B topics, such as SaaS, cybersecurity and the Cloud
  • Confident presentation and public-speaking skills to showcase work to clients clearly and persuasively
  • An enthusiastic, good-humoured personality who can work at speed, be receptive to feedback and have a laugh

Nice to have

  • Experience of content strategy and creating tactical plans (or desire to upskill in this area)
  • Confidence to educate internal teams on content writing best practice
  • Brand/messaging strategy experience
  • Experience executing PR and organic social media
  • Ad copy experience
  • SEO experience
