Job Overview:
The Paid Media Executive is responsible for supporting the planning, execution, and optimisation of paid media campaigns across key digital marketing platforms. This role requires strong analytical skills, creativity, and attention to detail to help drive measurable results for clients.
As a key part of the Paid Media Team, the Paid Media Executive will work closely with the Paid Media Manager and Paid Media Lead to develop innovative strategies, conduct competitor research, and ensure the successful delivery of paid search and social campaigns. This role is ideal for a junior marketeer looking to kick-start their career in a fast-paced agency environment, with plenty of opportunities to learn and grow.
Responsibilities:
- Implement paid media strategies that align with client goals and drive measurable results.
- Set up, manage, and optimise paid search and social media campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels.
- Analyse campaign performance data, identifying trends and potential issues, and proactively implement solutions.
- Conduct in-depth research on competitors, industry trends, and audience behaviours to identify opportunities for campaign success.
- Provide clear and concise reporting, turning data into actionable insights for both internal teams and clients.
- Test and refine campaign elements such as bid strategies, audience targeting, and ad creatives to improve overall performance.
- Present campaign findings and strategic recommendations confidently to internal stakeholders and clients when required.
- Collaborate with creative teams to ensure ad copy, visuals, and landing pages align with campaign objectives.
- Support the Paid Media Managers in the continuous improvement of processes and campaign methodologies to drive innovation within the team.
Key Performance Indicators:
Execution & Optimisation
- Campaign Setup Accuracy – Ensure campaigns are launched without errors and in line with strategy.
- Testing & Experimentation – Conduct regular A/B testing on creatives, audience targeting, and bidding strategies.
- Response Time to Issues – Quickly identify and resolve performance issues within campaigns.
Reporting & Insights
- Accuracy of Reporting – Deliver clear and accurate reports with actionable insights.
- Data-Driven Recommendations – Provide meaningful optimisation suggestions based on campaign data.
- Client Satisfaction – Ensure clients understand campaign performance and feel confident in the results.
Budget & Efficiency
- Ad Spend Efficiency – Ensure budget is allocated effectively across campaigns and platforms.
- Pacing & Budget Adherence – Maintain control over budgets and ensure spend aligns with monthly/quarterly targets.
Campaign Performance & ROI
- Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) – Ensure campaigns achieve a profitable return based on client objectives.
- Cost Per Acquisition (CPA) – Maintain or improve CPA for lead generation or sales-based campaigns.
- Click-Through Rate (CTR) – Achieve and sustain a strong CTR across platforms.
Skills / Experience:
- Education: Relevant a-levels in IT, Business, Media Studies. Degree preferred in relevant field
- Experience: Preferred 1+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Technical Skills: GA4, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Meta Ads
- Other Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
